The Duck’s Guts, University of Melbourne
In collaboration with WOWOWA, Finding Infinity contributed to the masterplan for the activation of the iconic South Lawn Carpark at Melbourne University Parkville Campus. The carpark was designed with a full lawn featuring large trees on the roof, made possible through the parabolic design of the columns, which support the structure and increase soil capacity allowing space for tree roots. It was featured in the original Mad Max film, as well as various other appearances in media, and is used occasionally for events.
Our contribution involved activation of the site through temporary combinations of environmental technology and culture, creating events to connect people with the technology that can transform cities from consumers to producers.
